My passion for creating came to me during the second world war, as a child with pencil and paper. I remember trying very hard to get the depth and shading right. Now, all these decades later, that self training is still a force in the unending quest to get it right. In art and in life I find that to follow one's own instincts and go forward with assurance, leaving mistakes to learn from not stop growth and forward motion.
As in life, art is not an island but merely a way to express one's feelings, so many people have helped me to do this as to humble me in such a thankful way. I am grateful to have been born with this gift and to have shared it with the world around me all through the years.
